Southern Baptist Convention Controversy Collection, 1980-1995.

The SBC Controversy Collection consists primarily of newspaper clippings, ephemeral documents, partisan publications, and copies of published and unpublished scholarly writings. These materials document key issues and events of the heart of the controversy, such as the doctrine of biblical inerrancy and the dismissal of two employees of Baptist Press. The collection also provides information about annual meetings of the Convention and leading personalities of the controversy.
